Re: [voting-project] Fw: Letter to congressmenSince Brian asked for "lots of pictures," I wonder if the video Doug Cragoe prepared might be used in some way. I gave the DVD to Arthur. Arthur said he would make copies but I haven't heard from Arthur about that.
This is the high res version of what we have in quicktime format on our web site (see the news page). Doug also edited the text screens based on our feedback. It's a real nice little infomercial that runs about 3.5 minutes.
I think it would be a good idea, before sending any pictures, to see if they will be able to view them. Also, mail to US Congress is seriously delayed by all the checking they do for anthrax and such. Maybe mail is getting through more quickly now. I don't know.
A link in an email might work.

However, it's not clear if they pay much attention to email (they get so much of it). A fax might be better where you have the link clearly written so an assistant could type it in.

I'd like to receive a copy of the letter when it is completed. This seems like a good document for OVC to have in any case. Barbara

I would like the OVC to author a letter that I can send to my congressmen outlining the OVC's mission and how the OVC electronic voting system would work. Please use simple English and lots of pictures so that they may comprehend the topics you are explaining. :P
Thank you,
Brian Debelius
