My comments for the California Secretary of State certification hearing

As my comments show, analysis of the disabled testers seems to show a
bias for or against the Votepad based largely on whether or not they had
tested some other electronic voting device. The vast majority had;
apparantly the SecState's office has some sort of "pool of regulars" to
draw from and when Votepad attempted to add "fresh blood" the SecState's
office went semi-ballistic.
The data on satisfaction patterns may indicate why. My initial comments
(first link) will provide an intro to the data (second link), organized
better than it is on the SecState's site.
