Yesterday's rejection by the current Technical Guidelines Development
Committee (TGDC) of a requirement for Voter Verified Paper Trail and
manual audits, that was recommended by Ron Rivest and the National
Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) points up how we need to
immediately increase the qualifications for membership on the TGDC in
order to oust the long-term "experienced" (at implementing horrible
voting systems) shills, who have no technical degrees. The TGDC needs
qualified persons ASAP before they vote on the 2007 standards later in
2007 if at all possible. (Britt Williams' degree is poli-sci and
Paul Kraft's is hotel management, etc. - People who are not qualified
to comprehend when voting vendor spokesliars are not telling the
truth about the security, reliability, etc. of current voting systems)
i.e. #11 of our suggested federal legislative proposals is crucial to
implement ASAP.

I am currently working on a list of experts to recommend to Congress
for detailed discussions of legislative language to go along with the
above proposals. Any help is appreciated on that.
