There are at least two secure Linux kernels out
there that are certified to levels that exceed
the reach of most company and governmental IT
groups. We might investigate them.
There are also secure proprietary Unix versions
that are similarly strong.
The trouble with commercial and governmental
IT people is that most of them have no experience
at all with real security. If your IT experience
is Windows centered, you live with institutionalized
insecurity, and any talk of secure systems is
either wishful thinking or marketing language.
