Thanks. But I've got an ISO that MD5 sums correctly. So I'm certain
the problem is something different than a corrupted download. I think
it's unlikely even to be a bad sector on a CD-R, since I wound up
burning two copies of the same ISO (they might both have -something-
bad, but the SAME FILE?).
I installed instead an older Mandrake (9.1) that I had around the house.
I think if I donwload the binary Mandrake PyQt RPMs, I should get BRP
working. I even installed the scanner in preparation (it seems to
work).
