I was just thinking....
Jan, you can actually hook our two systems up quite easily.
1) Create a third radio, button which indicates that you will be
sending the user to my app
2) create a URL as follows:
http://www.knowpeople.com:8080/vote/barcode.jsp?barcodevalue=XXXXXXXXXX&phase=check&source=HTML
(Ideally send this as a POST, to prevent the URL from being
"bookmarked" with the data in it, but get will work fine)
I'll modify so that errors will send the user BACK you your site.
instead of to the scan page.
BTW, the page http://www.knowpeople.com:8080/vote/barcode.jsp
will still work for those scanners and copy/pasters amongst you...
